Paul founded Telos Biblical Institute (formerly Veritas School of Theology) because he believes that when Dispensational Theology merges with Presuppositional Apologetics and Worldview the result is a powerful biblical witness to the world. In our fractured society the one thing which ought to be stable is the Christian Mind grounded in the Christian Bible. Paul has also developed what he terms ‘Biblical Covenantalism’ – which takes all that is good from traditional Dispensationalism but defines itself by its focus upon the covenants of the Bible. This brings Jesus Christ into the scheme of Scripture far more definitively, and provides the ground for a Christ-centered worldview.

Dr. Henebury serves as Professor of Systematic Theology and Apologetics. He also teaches Worldview, Church History, and other courses at Telos.

Experience

Since Paul was saved in 1984, he has been an avid student of the Bible and related literature. He has been involved in churchplanting and has held pastorates in both the U.K. and the States for more than 20 years.

When Dispensational Theology merges with Presuppositional Apologetics and Worldview the result is a powerful biblical witness to the world.

For several years Paul did open-air preaching in major cities in England and Scotland. He has conducted evangelistic meetings in the U.K. and been a keynote speaker at various conferences in the United States.

In addition to his pastoral roles, Dr. Henebury has served as Professor of Systematic Theology and Apologetics at Tyndale Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth, and editor of the Conservative Theological Journal and Journal of Dispensational Theology. Paul has published many articles and reviews in the last two decades, several of which have been translated into Chinese and German. He blogs regularly as Dr. Reluctant and plans to release several e-books later this year; the first of which will be Christ at the Center.

Education

Paul has earned a Master of Theological Studies from Tyndale Theological Seminary, and a Master of Divinity from Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary. He completed his Ph.D at Tyndale with special focus on theological methodology. His dissertation is entitled, "Method and Function in Dispensational Theology". He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society.
